JOAO REINO
my music making history in free-to-download tracks

Weekly Beats is a project in which musicians are invited to submit a new, unreleased track every week for a year. I did it for 4 weeks and here is the result. Keep in mind that I only had seven days to make each track!
Other works (circa 2007-2009). "Rebirth" has an interesting story: the solo starting at 3:44 was spontaneously played by my daughter, 6 years old then. I recorded it and made minor adjustments to its tempo and on two notes only for the final version.
Moksha (circa 2000) was my second"album". Produced similarly to BSB Soundz, but you can tell both the quality of the recording and my techniques are bit better now. I remember taking my whole desktop PC to a friend's studio to have it recorded on his CD burning machine.
BSB Soundz was my first EP (circa 1999), never released. I was in my early 20's and just put a bunch of songs together and called it an album. Had a friend come over with his CD burning machine and connect it to my computer's audio interface via RCA audio cables. So it went from digital to analog to digital again, which is the version you have here. For some reason, I never kept the original WAV files.
BIO
My Gift To You
Hey! I am an amateur electronic music producer and have been making music since my early 20's. I'm 42 now, married with four kids, and decided to make all the music I've ever produced (which is not a lot) available for free. Seriously, this is everything that was finished and had no major audio issues. Some of this stuff sounds pretty amateur. Still, I believe there are people out there who will enjoy and make good use of them. It is all available under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial licenses, which means you can download, play, DJ, even remix, as long as the final product is not used commercially. If you would like to use it commercially, drop me an email and we'll talk about it. Enjoy!
